→ Sourced Template
→ Brand Alignment
→ Website Structure + Layout
→ Art Direction + Image Curation

The Ask

This time, the client was me.

I've been quietly working away on my art in the background and wanted somewhere fresh for it to live. I already had a website and all the foundations were there, but it wasn't really capturing the depth of my work or how I wanted it to feel anymore.

I wanted something more connected and creative, where the artwork could speak for itself but the website still felt like an extension of the work.

And I didn't want to spend weeks building it.

The Plan

I found a Squarespace template that gave me the bones of what I needed and worked from there, using my existing brand foundations, imagery and content.

Rather than reinventing everything, it was really about looking at what I already had with fresh eyes. I simplified the structure, played with scale and layout and brought different parts of my work together in a way that felt much more connected.

Because the foundations were already there, I could make decisions quickly and focus on the things that would make the biggest difference.

The Outcome

A completely refreshed website, ready in one week.

It feels much more like my work now. More creative, more layered and a better representation of the different directions my art can take, without the website itself getting in the way.

It was also a good reminder that a new website doesn't always need to mean starting from scratch. Sometimes you already have most of what you need. A clear idea of what isn't working, the right starting point and a focused day can change a lot.
